Foxford village is approximately midway between the towns of Castlebar and Ballina. It is built on the banks of the River Moy, between the Nephin and Ox Mountains.
This is a pleasant walk around Foxford Town, where you pass by the Admiral William Brown Memorial Park, then continue alongside the River Moy, then a short stroll through the outskirts of the town before returning to the starting point.
