Kilmaine is 8-10 minute drive from Ballinrobe on the N84. There are three marked loop walks around Kilmaine.
The Nature walk is a short route that passes along a stream and by a line of recently planted native trees, whilst the Church walk follows the same route, then continues on to the village church where you can see the beautiful stained-glass window, The Nativity, by renowned artist Harry Clarke.
The Killernan walk is the longest of the three and takes you past the ruins of the historic Killernan Castle.
