Description

Achill Island is the largest island in the country. It is easily accessed from the mainland by a substantial bridge. Achill Island’s highlights include the fantastic Atlantic Drive along the coast and onto Keel village to view the magnificent Minaun Cliffs. Climb Saddle Head at Keem Bay and enjoy the breathtaking views of the sea cliffs at Craughaun.
The Valley Loop Walk – Slí Tóin a tSeanbhaile, Achill Island, is one of several fantastic marked trails that have been developed across the island. It is 15 minutes by car from Achill Sound. The walk offers fantastic views of Slievemore mountain.
