Pullathomas Loop

The area around Pullathomas is one of the most beautiful in Mayo. With wonderful views over the water to Rossport and the Atlantic Ocean, this is a truly spectacular place to visit and enjoy.

Bangor Trail

The Bangor Trail is a long and demanding walk and should not be taken lightly. Traversing Ireland's first designated wilderness area, the trail crosses a few mountain passes and skirts the western flank of the Nephin Mountains.

The Great Western Greenway
West Mayo

The Great Western Greenway

This Greenway takes walkers and cyclists along the line of the old railway between Westport and Achill Island. Along the way, you pass through the pretty villages of Newport and Mulranny and enjoy spectacular scenic views of Croagh Patrick and Clew Bay. You can also begin at the Achill Island Hotel (Ostan Oilean Acla) and do the trail in the opposite direction.
